THE Agro-Industrial Foundation College (AIFC) Sailors battles Jose Maria College (JMC) Kings at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the 5th Gaisano South (GS) Cup basketball tournament semifinals at the GS Citimall SkyGym.

The Sailors, according to tournament director Rico Jhone Biliran, have a twice-to-beat advantage in their college division 1 clash against the Kings.

Biliran said AMA Computer College also has a twice-to-beat advantage when it collides with Holy Child College in division 2 semis at 5 p.m.

A win by the Sailors and AMA will earn them tickets to the finals. Otherwise, sudden death matches will be set to determine the winners.

The longest-running premier youth cagefest is sanctioned by BAP/SBP under regional director Regino "Boy" Cua. (MLSA)
