THE Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS) crushed Lifestream International College (LIC), 58-23, in the 1st Lipovitan Amino Sports Cup Inter-High School Basketball Tournament at the LIC court Monday.
PNJKIS arranged a knockout game against Davao Central High School in bracket A on Saturday.
Tournament director Rael Diaz said the winner would face the top team in bracket B in the crossover semifinals round.
Brokenshire High School won via default over Ford Academy of the Arts to play Holy Cross of Bunawan in the 2:30 p.m. game on Saturday for another semis vacant slot.
Cash prizes and trophies are up for grabs in the cagefest sanctioned by the Basketball Association of the Philippines/Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP) under regional director Regino "Boy" Cua.
