Kapitan powers BFP cagers
AL KAPITAN fired 19 points to help the Bureau of Fire Protection in dealing with the Davao City Police Office its first setback, 70-58, in the 5th RRD-AFP/PNP Basketball Tournament Wednesday night at the Davao City Recreation Center.
Kapitan canned in five three-pointers to set the tone for Bureau of Fire en route to its fourth win in five games. DCPO now sports a 2-1 win-loss card.

Donato Perucho, the former Felcris Supermarket shooter in the 1990s, could only drill in two three-pointers of his 12 points.
In the other games of the tournament presented by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go, and the City Mayor's Office (4-0) kept their clean slate with an 88-79 victory over the Navy (0-3).
Go, who is also the Executive Assistant of Mayor Duterte, buried four three pointers out of his 28 total points while Joeny Magistrado topscored for the Navy with 29 points.
Edwin Josol, a teammate of Perucho in the glorious Felcris Supermarket years under team manager Willie Yap, pumped in 17 points to lead the Police Regional 11 (2-0) over the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (0-3), 89-85.
Games will resume on December 1.
