The Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) dismissed the breach of managerial contract Piñol had filed against Gabi following the vice governor's execution of an affidavit of desistance.
"All I was asking for was that they admit that they have wronged me," Piñol said.
Gabi has earlier issued a public apology in a press conference.
MTCC Branch 2 presiding Judge Antonina Escovilla also cleared Gabi of other deceits after the execution of the affidavits of desistance.
The vice governor, then Gabi's promoter, earlier filed breach of managerial contract against Gabi and his father in 2005. However, the warrant of arrest was issued just before Gabi arrived home from his victorious bout in Sacramento, California on August 11.
Gabi was part of Team Philippines in this year's Philippines vs Mexico 2007 World Boxing Cup.
