Monday, December 10, 2007 BJMP seals second win in Duterte cage tourney
THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology sealed its second win by beating the 28th Infantry Battalion (IB), 82-79, in the 5th RRD-AFP/PNP Basketball Tournament Saturday at the Davao City Recreation Center.
BJMP improved to two victories against four defeats while the 28th IB absorbed its second loss against three wins.
The 22nd Company, on the other hand, also chalked in its second win in five games at the expense of Task Force Davao, 106-76.
TFD is still winless with four setbacks in the tournament presented by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte with the support of City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go and sanctioned by BAP-Samahang Basketbolista ng Pilipinas.
