Tuesday, January 08, 2008 Davao's Eman misses game because of flu
FORMER University of Mindanao (UM) Wildcats cager Samigue Eman is down with flu and missed action when the Magnolia Beverage Masters lost to the Sta. Lucia Realtors, 77-99, at the Araneta Coliseum Sunday night.
In a text message to Sun.Star Davao, Eman said: "I'm not injured. I had flu since Saturday night so I wasn't able to play Sunday. I'm better now."
The six-foot-nine Eman will be able to play in the next assignment of the Beverage Masters that now tote a 9-8, win-loss record in the Smart PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) Philippine Cup.
The Realtors assured themselves of a playoff crack at the second outright semifinals seat.
Eman was Number 2 in the PBA Rookie Draft in August last year. (MLSA)
