Toy grenade found at ex-brgy captain's house

A PLASTIC toy grenade with the name of a former Angliongto barangay captain written on a label caused panic among residents of Roseville Subdivision Friday morning.

Fernando Cesar discovered the grenade around 8 a.m. hanging outside the gate of former barangay captain Pio Villagonzalo.

Cesar immediately informed Villagonzalo of the grenade who in turn called up the police.

The police called up for the Satu who arrived in the area around 11 a.m.

Upon inspection, the grenade was found out to be a plastic toy that looks exactly like a real grenade.

Authorities suspect that whoever placed the toy grenade, warns Villagonzalo.

It was learned that the former village chief has been the subject of numerous complaints from people in the area.

A concerned citizen even wrote a letter to Mayor Rodrigo Duterte informing him about Villagonzalo's abuses.
