Veteran coach Jethra Villanueva of Talomo National High School said the DCAA badminton teams including the secondary boys, elementary and boys and girls teams, just started training last Monday.
"We can't be sure to win the championship in the other categories but I'm confident that our secondary girls team to win the crown," Villanueva told Sun.Star Davao via text messages Friday.
"The elementary boys and girls teams are composed of new players but I believe the players will do their best in the regional meet," she added.
