Police said the two were arrested after a concerned resident called up Central 911, asking for assistance after they were disturbed by very loud music coming from a bicycle roaming around Leon Garcia street.
In an interview, Ponao denied the accusations and said their music was not so loud.
"Nangagi mi ato didto kay nangihi ko. Wala man ni siyay labot kay nagsakay lang man ni siya sa akoa (We stopped in the area to urinate. Paculayan was my passenger)," Ponao told Sun.Star Davao, adding that they are aware of the city's anti-nuisance ordinance.
Sta. Ana chief investigator Jeffrey Grant Bangcas said the two will be restricted for 12 hours and will pay the fine of P500 each.
Confiscated from the two suspects were a bicycle, CD player, MP3 audio devic, amplifier, and motorcycle battery.
