SEVERAL companies have already visited Davao City to introduce the electronic powered vehicles (e-vehicles), considered by the City Government of Davao as a great opportunity for investment.

"Several companies have already come to Davao. The city is open to investments, any alternative endeavor that would contribute to lessen the destruction of our environment is very welcome in Davao," Braga said.

For instance, Braga said the E-Motion Company, an Australian-based firm that sells e-powered motorcycles, expressed interest to invest in the city after its visit.

"There are a lot of them. It is good news that several companies have responded to the invitation. I could not remember what companies, meron pa ngang Makati-based company, but I forgot the name," Braga said.

She claimed the introduction of e-powered vehicles in Davao City would bring a big impact to the lives of the people.

"With this e-vehicles running our streets, magiging gas-free na ang Davao City, walang pollution, and it is less expensive and environment-friendly pa," Braga said.

She also claimed that e-vehicles will soon be the "car of the future" and it will have an impact on the economy and the lives of the people. (JGRS)
