Cambaliza tops bowling

EDMUND Cambaliza hit a total of 946 pinfalls to rule the Datba Tenpin Weekly Tournament at the NCCC Mall B3 Center lanes Saturday night.

Cambaliza qualified for the January monthly finals set on Saturday where cash prizes and trophies are up for grabs. The monthly finals champion will earn slot to the Bowler of the Year finals set in December.

He defeated Edwin Chua who rolled 802 pins while Ian Ancheta came in close third with 801.

Manny Siongco made 791 pinfalls to grab the fourth spot over Cris Alpas and British Thomas Convoy who placed fifth and sixth, respectively.

Alpas and Convoy each scored 787 in the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association under its new president Dave Guerra. (MLSA)
