THE Aurora/Davao United edged Hooligans Football Club (FC), 2-1, in the resumption of the Davao Football League at the Tionko Field Sunday.
Aurora/Davao United grabbed the top spot of the first division with three wins and one draw for a total of 10 points while the Hooligans placed second with six points. The latter suffered its first loss in three outings.
In an earlier game, the Columbia Juniors forced a 1-1 standoff with Medvil FC. Medvil held a record of two draws and one loss for total two points while Columbia Juniors got one draw and two losses to grab the bottom of the team standings.
In the second division, RAACA dusted off Brokenshire College, 6-1, to remain unscathed in with three victories in the bootfest organized by the Davao Football Association. Brokenshire, however, dropped to the cellar with three defeats.
The Garuda booters nipped Fil-Chi, 3-2, to improve its record to two wins and one loss. Garuda tallied six points along with the Lumads.
