Convoy: a winner anew

BRITISH Thomas Convoy struck for a total of 813 pinfalls to emerge champion in the Datba Tenpin Weekly Tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Center.

Tans Bernas placed second after hitting 800 pinfalls, while Alan Edulan finished third with 788 in the competition that serves as qualifying event for the monthly finals.

Edwin Chua and Cris Alpas settled for fourth and fifth, respectively. Chua rolled 775 pins, while the latter scored 766 in the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba)-organized tournament.

Ralph Martin and Jacky Villar, meanwhile, combined for 916 pinfalls to pocket the My Valentine Mix Tenpin Bowling Tournament on February 15 at the same venue. (MLSA)
