The Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS) placed third in the two-day event organized by the Datu Uchida Development Foundation, Inc. (DUDFI) and sanctioned by the Davao City Baseball Association.

CBNHS pitcher John Mark Lingan and Villafuerte's hurler Jake Pabusta were named most valuable players after the two-day tournament.

CBNHS is also bannered by Kenneth Abatayo, Darlwill Bayocboc, Philip Vincent Cane, Benard Galicia, Gennie Lumictin and elder brother Gerald Lumictin, Shem Boy Mamacos, Edcris Nar Saberon Ericson Villame.

Completing the roster for Villafuerte are Jeeson Aguhob, Jonathan Atos, Ranzel Barsales, Justin Roco, Joveth Calero, Fresco Daya Jr., Ian Galvan, Mark Angelo Leonor, Glen Manonog, Michael Mejasco and Michael Sicat.

The champion teams were scheduled for a victory dinner party treat at the Apo View Hotel Monday night by DUDFI headed by its president and Davao City-born Japanese Tatsuo Uchida.
