UM, HCDC sparkle

THE Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) and University of Mindanao (UM) captured the over-all men's and women's crowns, respectively, of the DC-Prisaa Meet track and field competition at the UM track oval Sunday.

HCDC harvested a total of 24 gold medals, 15 silvers and 10 bronzes, while to rule the men's event over UM that hauled 15 golds, 22 silvers and two bronzes.

UM meantime dominated the women's category by collecting 32 golds, five silvers and four bronzes, while HCDC got seven golds, 21 silvers and one bronze.

The Jose Maria College (JMC) came in third with its 0-3-6 medal count.

In women's basketball, National Prisaa champion UM Cardinals, coached by Crisanthemum "Ining" Sarabia, tamed the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Lady Bulldogs. (MLSA)
