THE human body needs not only vitamins, but also minerals essential to build and repair tissues, which are vital to all physical and mental processes.
Insufficient intake of mineral supplement daily may cause a gradual decline in one's health that may also lead to chronic diseases such as anemia, rickets, goiter, diabetes, and even the dreaded cancer.
The QDynamics Corp., a new company based in Quezon City, is introducing its first and only product, Quantum minerals Plus, a food supplement (mineral drop) that includes the newfound modern day minerals Fulvic, Humic Acids, and Zeolite.
Founded by Dr. Dilla Maceda-Patawaran, OB-Gynecologist, nutritional and environment science practitioner, and voluntary doctor for ABS-CBN's "Salamat Doc" Foundation, Quantum Minerals Plus is approved product by the Bureau of Food and Drugs (Bfad) and introduced in Davao City on February 16, 2008.
After several years of study, Filipino scientists at the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the UP-Los Baños finally produced the product last year. It was introduced in Luzon and eventually in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Nicolas "Noli" Mendoza, a Dabawenyo friend of Patawaran, was the first and only distributor of the company in Davao City.
In an interview with Sun.Star Davao, Mendoza said Patawaran came up with the idea of producing the product after seeing the need of the people, especially those who have illnesses, for something that, aside from being affordable, provides complete function of a food supplement.
"The reason why Dr. Patawaran came up with the product is because she wants to bring an alternative medicine that can give multi-benefits to the users. She was once a cancer patient and she really felt na may kamahalan ang mga gamot, so she came up with the idea of having the product. She brought the product in Mindanao not only because Mindanao has a big potential market, but because of the fact that marami ring nagkakasakit dito," Mendoza said.
The product, which will be formally launched in Davao City on March 18, is now available in Butuan, Digos City, Toril, General Santos, and some other parts of Mindanao.
"The laboratory is in Tarlac. It is also being sold in the Visayas and Luzon area. In Mindanao, QDynamics has already 14 distributors and we expect a bigger market in the next coming months. Our assurance is the product itself, makikita mo kasi ang instant healing," Mendoza said.
Quantum Minerals Plus is also best to cure open wounds.
"Just a drop of it on an open wound and after four seconds, makikita mo, tuyo agad ang sugat," Mendoza said, adding that the product is very safe even for toddlers and pregnant women.
Each 30 ml of Quantum Minerals is good for at least a month of consumption. It only costs P480, much lower than other existing herbal food supplements.
"The standard net is only 30 ml. Wala ng mas malaki or mas maliit pa. Qdynamics will be consistent in producing 30 ml because if we produce with higher content, also we will make the price higher. We want that the product to remain affordable," he said.
To market the product and to make the product known to the people, Mendoza's group is conducting promotional campaign in every barangay in Davao City.
"We already have gone to barangays 30 to 39. We conducted a patak system where we sold the product per drop at P2. This program will be continued for the next coming months until we finish with all barangays in the city," he said.
Mendoza added that they got very positive feedbacks from the barangays they have visited. He said that around 10,000 to 15,000 families are now using the product since they started selling it in Davao City last month.
Asked how quantum minerals differ with other mineral drops, Mendoza simply said Quantum is the only mineral supplement today with proprietary blend of fulvic acid, humic acid, and zeolite, which control and prevent diseases.
Fulvic and humic acids, based on QDynamics definition, are natural ionic molecules recognized as one of the key elements in many scientific breakthroughs of the 21st century for the prevention of disease and maintenance of good health. One single molecule of fulvic acid carries 60 or more minerals and trace elements into the inside of the cell.
Zeolites, on the other hand, form from volcanic rocks and ash layers react with alkaline groundwater. It is a mineral with micro-porous structure that accommodates minerals like sodium, calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
Mendoza said the product has a lot of benefits.
