CommPhil honors realtors, brokers

TO GIVE recognition and award prizes to its top sales achievers, Communities Philippines Davao its realtors and brokers with an elegant reception at the 1st CommPhil Annual Awards at the Waterfront Insular Hotel.

Dressed in their finest gowns and accessories in red and black motif, the guests eagerly waited to find out who among their contemporaries excelled in sales performance for 2007. After an appetizing dinner, the guests were ready for the highly charged program that set the mood for the exciting evening.

First to go up the stage was Juliet B. Abello of the Everest Group, accepting the Highest Conversion Rate Award in the Division Manager Category, while Myrna S. Dumuk of the Summit Group clinched the same award in the Business Director category.

The Highest Reservation Sales Award for 2007 went to Premiere Community Partners Inc. (PCPI), formerly CPPI, whose trophy was received by Marketing Director Farrah J. Lopez.

Excel Group was declared the Business Unit with the Highest Contracted Sales for 2007, whose award was received by Teresita P. Gonzaga on their behalf.

Not to be left behind was MBG, represented by Mercedita O. Balio, which was awarded the Most Improved Business Unit for 2007.

The audience gave a roaring applause as Vismenda A. Alderite of PCPI was declared the Top Property Executive for 2007, followed by Fe Ngo Wong of MBG Group as 1st runner-up and Angelito Pana of TVG Realty as 2nd runner-up.

PCPI was on a roll that night as Anne Meryl A. Alderite went up the stage to claim the award for 2007 Top Division Manager. And following right behind her for the same title was Danilo V. Vergara of TVG Realty and Mercedita O. Balio of MBG GROUP as 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.

Definitely breaking new grounds was Excel Group with Teresita P. Gonzaga at the helm, which was chosen as the Top Business Unit for 2007.

Following their lead were TVG Realty led by Emma Concepcion V. Vergara as 1st runner-up, and Everest headed by Leticia B. Ablas as 2nd runner-up.

The audience heartily applauded the winners as they received their plaques and prizes from CommPhil-Davao general manager Myra Lynn R. Gilig, who also exhorted all business units to gear up for their new projects in 2008.

"We saw new faces going up the stage tonight, which means our sales force is getting stronger than ever. With our upcoming new and exciting projects, a robust and first-rate sales team is exactly what we need to meet the challenge this year," said Gilig.

She added that this is the first awards ceremony for Communities Philippines Davao, as the past years' awards were held under their former corporate names, Crown Asia and Crown Communities.

The City's No. 1 homebuilder, Communities Philippines Davao is the developer of well-admired prime communities such as the Caribbean-inspired Solariega, Italian-themed Toscana, and soon-to-be-opened Positano.
