EMCOR Inc., along with Esmindo Cuda of the Rotary Club of Toril Davao, is the major sponsor of the Rotary Governor's Cup 2008-2009 Golf Tournament, which tees off March 8 at the Apo Golf and Country Club.
Incoming Governor Billy Parilla said the one-day golf event is also supported by AXA Life, JTL Insurance Agency, Bar Stronghold Insurance Corp. Inc., Valor Security Agency Inc., Oraya Land Development, Nonoy Villa Abrille, Gas Petronas General Santos City and FusionExcel International.
A brand new Mitsubishi GLX car and a Kawasaki motorcycle are the hole-in-one prizes in the fund-raising tournament.
Parilla said some 250 golfers from Davao City and the neighboring areas are competing in the event where proceeds will be used to fund various community projects.
Resgistration fee is P1,800 inclusive of a mulligan. (CRAM)
