Ancheta tops Chua, wins Datba title
IAN Ancheta beat Edwin Chua, 205-188, to capture the Datba Monthly Finals Tournament title at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Saturday evening.
Before bowing to No. 1 Ancheta, No. 4 Chua climbed his way to the finals by ousting No. 3 Thomas Convoy, 190-186, then booting out No. 2 Ronald Martin, 170-152, in the step-the-ladder championship round.

Ancheta took the top spot of the finals round after garnering a total of 1,550 pinfalls over Martin's 1,539, Convoy's 1,529 and Chua's 1,515.
Cash prizes were awarded to the winners in the tournament organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Weekly games will resume on Saturday. (MLSA)
