ORGANIZERS on Monday bared the seeded pairs in the Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte Araw ng Dabaw Pro-Am Doubles Championship set on Saturday and Sunday at the Ecoland Phase 4 courts.
Philippine Tennis Association (Philta) regional vice president for Mindanao Juanito Cansino Jr. said Mark Alcoseba-Abet Dizon, Arnold Sarabia-Edgar Quiñones, Andrei Dizon-Lando Ibaretta, and El Santo Santos-Jessie Kabigting tandems lead the cast of heavy favorites.
The Erwin Velasco-Olry Mejia, Michael Mesa-Paolo Cansino and Marvin Bartolome-Hesron Tobar, Tyson Palac-Bonnie Reyes pairs are also seeded players, according to Cansino.
He said the champion pair will pocket a cash prize of P4,000 with a trophy while the runner-up will receive P2,000.
"The semi-final pairs will get P1,000 while the quarter-finalists will go home with P500," Cansino said.
