Francisco is Datba champ

LINO Francisco crowned himself champion by hitting a total of 830 pinfalls in the Datba Tenpin Weekly Tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Saturday evening.

Francisco defeated Mike Guerra whose 824 pinfalls landed him at the second spot while Mayor Al Langkuno garnered 822 for third.

Leandro Martin (820) and former Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) president Billy Magdale (802) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Striking for 800 pinfalls, Ed Combaliza got the fifth spot in the weekly bowlfest that serves as a qualifying event for the monthly finals that offers cash prizes and trophies to the winners.

Datba, meanwhile, is speeding up its preparations for the upcoming Araw ng Dabaw Tenpin Classics. (MLSA)
