DABAWENYOS are in for an explosive treat in this year's celebration of Araw ng Dabaw as GMA Network unwraps exciting activities in the annual festival.
Telebabad Stars troop to the "Durian Republic" for an unforgettable Kapuso experience that should not be missed.
Starting Wednesday, boxing aficionados will have a grand time watching live ring action as GMA TV-5 in cooperation with the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines (Abap) Davao Chapter and the City Government of Davao present the Kapuso Amateur Boxing Cup.
The tournament will run for three days at the City Hall Drive and will be graced by Kapuso stars Ian Veneracion, Ehra Madrigal, Chuck Allie and Carinne Cabebe on its last day on March 14.
Ian Veneracion is part of GMA's primetime action-fantaserye Joaquin Bordado where he plays the cunning brother of Robin Padilla. Ehra Madrigal, on the other hand, is also a regular face in primetime Telebabad as she plays Ditas, one of the ambogs in Kamandag.
Chuck Allie and Carinne Cabebe are hosts of TV-5's weekend late-morning magazine program Istayl Nato!
On March 15, Hataw Dabaw! The Kapuso Araw ng Dabaw Celebration unfolds at the NCCC Mall starting 10 a.m.
Sponsors' booths offering various services and merchandise will be available for the public to see and experience during this big event. Nuts Entertainment's funny tandem of Cookie and Bellie Flory will host the daylong affair.
And just before the Kapuso artists troop to the NCCC Mall for an afternoon of fun-filled, quality entertainment, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Ehra Madrigal, Alfred Vargas, and Iza Calzado will be part of a gift-giving activity that will start at 2 p.m.
After which, it's all systems go for the Kapuso Mall Show which will start at 4 p.m.
Kamandag's Mark Anthony Fernandez and Ehra Madrigal lead the line-up of stars at the NCCC mall with ESP stars Alfred Vargas and the beautiful Iza Calzado in tow.
Iza currently stars in Joaquin Bordado as the young and distraught wife of Robin Padilla who plays the title role.
Mark Herras, another Bordado star will also be present in the mall show. It will be a Kapuso experience for everyone to join!
