Triathlon kicks off

THE National Age-Group Triathlon Championships Davao leg kicks off at 6 a.m. Sunday at the Waterfront Insular Hotel.

Davao City bets are among the heavy favorites in the race with the absence of top triathletes from Laguna and Cebu.

The competition, organized by the Triathlon Association of Davao (Triad), offers medals, gift certificates and finisher's shirt to the winners.

It features the 19 years old and under, 20-under, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49 and 50-above categories. (MLSA)
