Monday, April 07, 2008 Adultery case lands at RTC-8
THE Regional Trial Court branch 8 will be handling the case filed against a woman and her lover after they were caught naked by the woman's husband inside the conjugal house in Calinan, Davao City last month.
RTC Branch 8 Judge Pelagio Paguican is yet to schedule the first trial of Evelyn and Andrew (real names withheld) after prosecutor Serafica Justiniani Weis recommended the filing of charges based on the complaint of the woman's husband.
The husband left for Hawaii to work in November 2007, but he got word that his wife was having an affair with another man by February 2008, and so he went home without his wife's knowledge, sought police assistance that led to the arrest of his wife and her lover.
A team of policemen and barangay officials accompanied the husband and they caught his wife and lover naked inside their house.
Weis recommended a bailbond of P12,000 for each of the respondent's temporary liberty. (RMH)
