POLICE authorities filed theft charges against two men for robbing a man along Barangay Ubalde in R. Castillo, Agdao, Davao City, last month.
The suspects identified as Jhon Ford Umbac Sacedor, 21, and Etchie Anda Singanoy, 18, both residents of Barangay 76-A in Bucana, Davao City were charged based on the complaint of the victim, Wilfredo Retiza Abellana, 47, a resident of the place.
Abellana in his affidavit said he was waiting for a ride at Trading along Quezon Boulevard midnight of March 24 when six men armed with knives robbed him of his wristwatch worth P1,200.
He said he was not able to move because the men threatened to kill him.
As soon as the men left, he was to the San Pedro Police Precinct to seek help from the policemen who helped him track down the gang.
When the police team with Abellana returned to Trading, Abellana saw one of the suspects and they were able to track another one at Purok 4 in Bucana.
The suspects are now detained at the San pedro police station detention cell.
