A FULL blown investigation is underway on the alleged collusion between some police personnel and dynamite fishers in Compostela Valley as constant patrols in the province's municipal waters continue to yield nothing, despite reports of rampant illegal fishing in the area.
A local resident of the municipality of Mabini, Compostela Valley told Sun.Star Davao last March that the patrols implemented by Governor Arturo "Chiongkee" Uy have not yielded any offender as some police personnel are apparently tipping off the fishers to a scheduled patrol.
