GAANiversary kicks off in General Santos City
TALK 'N Text marked its 8th Anniversary celebration with GAANiversary, a nationwide series of events that promises exciting treats for the prepaid GSM service provider's over 10 million subscribers.
Talk 'N Text GAANiversary kicked off in General Santos City on March 29, highlighted by a recently launched campaign featuring three stars who embody the brand's mass appeal -- boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto, and action star Robin Padilla.

The three lived up to the task of making life more hopeful and positive for a lot of Filipinos. Together, they strongly reinforce Talk 'N Text's proposition, "Gumagaan ang Life!"
"In their own way, pinapagaan nina Robin, Rufa Mae, and Manny ang buhay ng mga Pilipino," said Danilo J. Mojica, Wireless Consumer Division head of Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart).
The kick off event was held at General Santos City Oval Plaza where fun games and activities were also conducted to the delight of residents of the city's 26 barangays.
Talk 'N Text subscribers were also be able to catch giveaways and some of whom won refrigerators, DVD players, MP3 players, and gift certificates in a raffle.
GAANiversary also provided Talk 'N Text subscribers a chance to meet celebrities such as Rufa Mae, Rayver Cruz, Dominic Ochoa, and Rhian Ramos, during a variety show in the evening.
After the GenSan kickoff, GAANiversary will continue in other parts of the country, including Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan on April 12, Mindoro Oriental on April 19, Bulacan on April 26, Negros Occidental on May 3, and Rizal on May 10.
