Molde also received additional P2,000 from Department of Education (DepEd) regional director Susanna Teresa Estigoy and P500 from Davraa athletic manager Fidel Japos for winning the first gold for the 485-member contingent at the just-concluded Palaro.

The other awardees were gold medal boxers Engelbert and brother John Vincent Moralde of Davao City, Mark Anthony Barriga and Jerwin Ancajas along with silver medallist Glenn Cantaveros of Panabo City.
