U-14 rapid chess opens Saturday

THE 29th Edition of the BKCC-DCSC Under 14 Rapid Age Group Chess Championship is set on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Blue Knight Chess Club along Bonifacio St.

Club director Ronnie Tabudlong said the five-round Swiss System format tournament will allow each player 25 minutes to finish the game.

Tabudlong said trophies and chess instructional video compact discs (CDs) would be awarded to the winners. Registration fee is P35 per player.
