`Tatlohan' bowlfest

THE SBC Tatlohan Bowling Challenge 2008 rolls off Tuesday, May 20, at the Fairlanes Bowling Center.

Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) board of director and past president Emie Orteza said teams have started signing up for the four-day tournament.

The bowlfest stakes a cash prize of P3,000 for the champion, P2,000 for the runner-up and P1,000 to the third placer.

It is organized to foster camaraderie among SBC members and non-members alike.

Orteza said handicapping will be observed for players.

"There's a slight difference in the handicapping from last year," he said.

Awarding of prizes is set on May 26 after the final rounds.

Expected to compete are favorites Polyprod, Ayang's Catering, Hannah's, SBC Officers and MVO Digital, among others. (MLSA)
