Satorre, Serrano top shootfest

ARNOLD Satorre and Zyrus Michael Serreno shared the limelight.

At the close of the PPSA Shooting Competition at the Gold Cup Davao Outdoor Shooting Range, Laud Quarry, Maa, Satorre emerged champion in standard division, while Aimee Perez placed second and Jimmy Roldan came third.

Khadafeh Mangundadatu and Bataga Vincent took the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.

Serreno, on his part, topped the production category over Kirby Abdullah, Reynante Labio, Dibu Tuan and Arthur Armada.

Joel Tan took the open crown at the expense of Nelson Edera who settled for the runner-up honors, while Roberto Ellavera won the revolver championship trophy.

Benjamin Lao placed first over Ramil Pulvera in the civilian standard single stack category, while Perez clinched the junior standard crown and Alwali Mangundadatu ruled the junior open.

Perez also copped the lady standard trophy while Luisa Pedregosa pocketed the lady production title and Lenie Ruth Martinez went home with lady open crown.

The senior standard title went to Jimmy Roldan, while senior production champion was Romeo Angtui and Nelson Edera grabbed the top post of the senior open event.

The other winners were Karim Rashgar (government official/employee standard single stack), Roldan (standard hi-cap), Ben Dimasicil (production); Vincent Bataga (lawman/military standard hi-cap);

Robert Chavez (standard single stack), Zyrus Michael Serrano (production); Rolando Malagdao (range officers standard hi-cap), Joseph Limpangog (standard single stack), Mario Yuson (production); Abdull Bari Dipatuan
(customs personnel production), Ellavera (revolver) and lawyer Sumalpong (judiciary). (MLSA)
