Metrobank, BDO break tie as Bankers' Cup resumes

LEAGUE leaders Banco de Oro and Metrobank will break the tie when the Bankers Cup 2008 basketball tournament resumes Saturday at the Evergold Gym in B. Obrero.

BDO and the defending champion Metrobank dribblers will hold 2-0 win-loss records as they go into the game at 12:45 p.m.

Plantersbank, the 2006 champion, goes up against Securitybank in the first game at 9 a.m., while BPI meets RCBC in the second contest at 10:15 a.m.

Citybank and Enterprisebank square off in the third match at 11:30 a.m.

The RCBC cagers are mentored by playing-coach Chiong Escudero.
