A P1 MILLION hole-in-one prize is up for grabs in the 20th GET Open Golf Tournament set on June 15 at the Apo Golf and Country Club.

"We are also happy to announce that aside from the P1M hole-in-one prize sponsored by Malayan Insurance, we will also give away P500,000 for the holes No. 7, 11 and 17," UMBN executive Bobet Castillo said.

Castillo, during the Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at the Tower Inn Thursday, said the P.5M is courtesy of Metropolitan Insurance.

"There will be regular prizes like motorcycles and appliances in the annual golfest that will benefit the scholars at Mt. Apo Foundation Science College," he said.

Castillo said they expect close to 300 participants. "We average at 280 entries every year. We are still shooting for that number this year," he said. (MLSA)
