TOURNAMENT pacesetter Metrobank shoots for its fourth win while former titlist Plantersbank guns for another victory when the Bankers Cup 2008 basketball tournament resumes Saturday at the Evergold Recreation Center in Bo. Obrero.
The defending champion Metrobank dribblers are on top of the eight-team field with a 3-0 win-loss card and will face RCBC in the last match of a four-game schedule.
Plantersbank is within striking distance of the leader at 2-1 and will take the court to play Enterprisebank in the first game.
BPI and Bance de Oro, both also sporting 2-1 cards, square off in the second game, while Citibank meets Securitybank in the third match.
Last Saturday, Metrobank zoomed to its third straight win at the expense of BDO, which played minus Nilo Temporal, the team's main offensive weapon.
