Man's body found in Quimpo Boulevard

There are reports that the victim was a native of Malita, Davao del Sur.

The victim was described to be around 20 years old, around 5'5" tall, wearing maong short pants and white sleeveless shirt.

Based on initial investigations conducted by SPO1 Reynaldo Gustilo of the Talomo police, Reynaldo Ramirez, 25, found the victim in a vacant lot near the building of the National Telecommunications Commission on Quimpo Boulevard.

Ramirez reportedly followed the foul stench, which led him to the body.

According to the police, there is a possibility that the victim has been dead for several days as the body was found in the advance state of decomposition.

PO3 Jeremias Bustamante of the Talomo police, in an interview with Sun.Star SuperBalita Monday, said the victim is yet to be unidentified.

The body was brought to Patalinhug Funeral Homes in Davao City. (RCO)
