THE Sulpicio Lines and New Day Recovery (NDR) dribblers grabbed their second straight wins at the resumption of the 2008 Summer Basketball League (SML) held at the Almendras Gym Sunday.
Sulpicio Lines routed Wallmount Advertising, 107-73, while NDR overcame Emar College, 117-109, in class C of the Basketball Association of the Philippines-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP) Region 11.
Sulpicio's Charlemagne Rosauro drilled in 23 points while teammate Jano Nunez added 14 points to give Wallmount Advertising its second straight defeat.
Lawyer Joel Bernard Babista's NDR, meanwhile, relied on Rhandelle Colina who sizzled with 37 markers as Kim Madera and Thommy Collados chipped in 22 and 15, respectively.
The efforts of Ronnel Bantilan and Juvanie Jimenez were not enough for the Junjun Montalban-coached Emar College to pull through with the absence of slotman Greggy Delica.
In class D, the GSO-IBP crushed Emcor Davao, 96-68, to improve to a clean 2-0 slate while the SJC Stallions defeated Holcim, 99-87, for a 1-1 record. (MLSA)
