In an interview with Sun.Star Davao, Ruby May Magtoto, the owner of Ram's Diner together with her husband Ram, said that although she is exasperated with the preparations that accompany with the opening of a restaurant, she still feels excited that they are opening another branch.
Ram's, which originally sold "lechon manok," or roasted chicken, started in 1996. "The restaurants were started in 1998," Mrs. Magtoto said.
Apart from the opening of the new Ram's Diner restaurant at DBP Village along Ma-a Road, the Magtoto couple also embarked on a new business, an apartelle.
Dubbed as Enrico's Apartelle, it occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors of the three-storey building, which houses the new outlet of Ram's Diner.
"There are ten rooms on the second and third floors, while there are three doors for the two story apartelles," Mrs. Magtoto added.
Asked why she and her husband decided to venture into the hotel business, Magtoto simply said it was something new to them and that they wanted to give it a shot. (CPM)
