The various networking sessions showed that there are indeed bright prospects for SME based call centers that are professionally managed and are able to render good customer services. We are very thankful that BPAP, who are the big players in the BPO sector is working closely with the smaller call centers bringing us to the forefront of the industry," Bian said.

The highlight of the Philippine participation was the Philippine Business Seminar and Networking Forum where presentations were made to the foreign business delegations about the investment potentials of the Philippines in BPO.

CICT Secretary Ray Chua talked about the government's initiatives to support the ICT sector; Oscar Sanez, president of BPAP, highlighted the bright prospects of BPO in the Philippines as indicated by the performance of the different multinational contact centers, animation, medical transcription companies; Joji Bian made a presentation for the SME call centers where she highlighted the presence of small call centers from 20-100 seats operating in many key cities of the Philippines.
