THE Davao Doctors Hospital will have a weeklong free clinic starting July 7 as part of its 39th anniversary celebration.
Various medical departments such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Ophthalmology will be offering free consultation and free services on a first come, first served basis at DDH's Out-Patient Department.
The free clinic, which is open to all, is an annual tradition of DDH and a way for the hospital to give back and share to the community.
On July 7, the Internal Medicine Department will give free consultation for the first 50 patients and free ECG for the first 100 patients from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Surgery Department will give free surgical consultations for the first 50 patients and pre-screening of patients qualified for Alis Bukol (free cyst excision) from 10 a.m. to noon of the same day. The surgery will be made in the afternoon for 10 of the pre-screened patients.
On July 8, the Internal Medicine Department will give free adult medical consultations for the first 50 patients from 10 a.m. to noon.
On July 9, the Internal Medicine Department will give free adult medical consultations for the first 50 patients from 8 a.m. to noon as well as a Free Diabetes screening (FBS, RBS/Urine Sugar) for the first 50 patients.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Ophthalmology Department will give a free eye check-up/Refraction for the first 50 patients; Free DM Retinopathy Screening for the first 50 patients; and Free Glaucoma Screening for the first 50 patients.
On July 10, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department will provide free pap smear for the first 50 patients while the Pediatrics Department will hold a film showing and free consultations for the first 50 children in the afternoon.
It will also provide free BCG, DPT, OPV, Measles Immunizations for the first 50 children 5 year old & below; and Free Anemia/Growth Screening for the first 50 patients.
On July 11, the Internal Medicine Department will hold free Ankle Bone Index for the first 50 patients and free Peripheral Bone Densitometer for the first 50 patients from 8 a.m. to noon.
