Davao Doctors Hospital marks 39th year

DAVAO Doctors Hospital (DDH), the leading health care institution in the Davao region, celebrates its 39th Anniversary Monday.

One of the highlights of the celebration is the blessing of the hospital's newly renovated Emergency Room Complex.

A program will also be conducted at the 10th floor of the hospital's medical tower right after the blessing ceremonies around 11 a.m.

DDH president Dominador Cabrera will lead the program, together with Metro Pacific Investment Corporation's president and chief executive officer Jose Ma. Lim.

The entry of Metro Pacific Investment Corp. (MPIC) was to be formally recognized during the celebration. The company has bought shares of existing stockholders, 34 percent or 310,000 shares of the total issued shares for P1,600 each for a total of at least P500 million.

DDH has been listed among the top five hospitals in the country today, having acquired the state-of-the-art Siemens Axom Arthis Cath Lab System just recently.
It can provide the physician with outstanding image quality using cutting-edge digital flat detectors.

Meanwhile, with the coming of MPIC as a new investor, the union bloc of the hospital hopes that the hospital can acquire more equipment that can bring better service to the community. (JGRS)
