Rain showers to continue

DAVAO City will continue to experience cloudy skies and an overcast weather for the entire week as an inter-tropical convergent zone is affecting the country.

The city and the rest of Southern Mindanao has been experiencing a rainy weather for the past months already that have triggered flooding in most of the city's thoroughfares in the downtown area.

In its weekly weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail, especially in the late afternoon and early evenings.

Pagasa also reported that coastal waters will be slight to moderate with light to moderate winds blowing over Southern Mindanao from the south and southeast directions.

More rains are expected as the end of the week approaches.

Temperatures in the region will vary from a high of 32 degrees Celsius to a low of 22 degrees Celsius.

Humidity will vary from a high of 92 percent in the early mornings to a low of 64 percent in the early afternoon.

No other disturbance has been reported by the weather bureau. (CPM with Press release)
