DAVAO City sports coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go sparked the City Mayor's Office's 92-85 victory against Wallmount Advertising in the resumption of the 2008 Summer Basketball League at the Almendras Gym Sunday.
Go drilled in 20 points. He led the charge for CMO that grabbed its second win in three outings in class C of the cagefest sanctioned by the Basketball Association of the Philippines-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP).
Ariel Bonleon added 19 points while Borris Mejorada sank 16 and Dindo Pastor made 14 to help lift CMO's triumph.
Wallmount dropped to a 0-5 record. It leaned on Jeff Amantiad who sizzled with 34 markers.
In other matches, the Davao Ching Printers shattered Brokenshire College, 97-76, while SJC Stallions trounced Goldstar, 101-97.
Games will resume on Thursday with the Land Transportation Office going up against Gibbex at 5 p.m. in class D while the City Mayor's Office collides with Davao Ching Printers in the main 7 p.m. match. (MLSA)
