Planters whip Security
By Charles Raymond A. Maxey

PLANTERSBANK whipped Securitybank Saturday, 94-85, for its third straight victory in the Bankers Cup 2008 basketball tournament.

The Plantersbank dribblers, sponsored by Bacchus Energy Drink and EML Partners, recovered from a 22-point deficit and leaned on Kim Villanueva's team-high 24 points to gain solo second place in the eight-team field with their 6-3 card.
