THE 2nd leg of the Regional Swimming Association (RSA) Series set this month in Koronadal City will instead be held in Davao City by August in time for the Kadayawan Festival.
Philippine Amateur Swimming Association (Pasa) regional director Deedee Gonzalez said Monday that the original organizers of the second leg postponed their hosting to October.
"They cited no reason with the postponement. The August tournament will now be the second leg," Gonzalez said.
In the Pinoy Swimming website, the South Cotabato Aquatics Swim Club is scheduled to host the second leg this month while the Evangelista East Aquatics Swim Club will host the third leg on August 16 and 17 in a still undetermined venue.
With the postponement of the South Cotabato event, the Evangelista East Aquatics Swim Club of Darren Evangelista will then call the shots for the second leg.
Gonzalez's Coastland Davao Swim Team (CDST) hosted the kick-off leg of the series in May that was also dubbed the 9th Mayor's Cup.
