"I won the silver last year so I'll try to put up a better finish this year," Ouano said.
Ouano, a member of the Triathlon Association of Davao, said he expects stiff contest against top triathletes from all over Asia including RP national team members.
The triple Olympic Distance event covers four-kilometer swim, 120km bike, and 30km run.
The start and transition will be at the Boardwalk Area along Waterfront Road going to the finish is at the middle portion of Rojas St., between Legenda's El Centro and Courtyard Inn.
The Triathlon Association of the Philippines is hosting the event.
Ouano, reigning top awardee of the Recognizing Outstanding Davao Youth (RODY Project) 2007, finished the 9th edition of the Ironman Triathlon in Langkawi, Malaysia in February. (MLSA)
