SM City to mark 50th year during Kadayawan Festival
SM CITY Davao is all set for a grand Kadayawan participation this August.
"We will have a greater participation as this year is also our 50th year anniversary, and it is our way of showing our appreciation for the support of Dabawenyos," Debby Go, mall manager of SM City Davao, said in Monday's Kapehan sa Dabaw at SM City Davao's Cafe Rysus.

SM City Davao is a diamond sponsor of the Kadayawan Festival.
Amid the present economic situation being experienced in the country, Go said they are still confident that the festival this year will be successful as SM City Davao brings in trade fairs, fashion shows, exhibits, and mall-wide sales.
For the whole month of August, according to John Maynard Gan, the new brand manager of SM City Davao, the mall has been fully booked with various events that will compliment the month-long festival.
Kicking off the celebration will be the Agro-Industrial Trade Fair, which will be at the back portion of SM City Davao, together with an ikebana exhibit at the events center of the mall.
This will be followed by the Kaniyogan Festival, in coordination with the Philippine Coconut Authority, which will start on August 13.
The whole week of August 18 to 24 is the much-anticipated mall-wide sale.
During the same period, SM City Davao will also be providing their customers a glimpse of the festival by bringing in their own version of Indak-Indak within the mall compound.
Other events at SM City Davao include the Mindanao Culinary Demo, Sayaw Mindanao, Moda Mindanao, a concert of Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Fashion Edge. (CPM)
