But SM City Davao remains to be on the top slot with the number of luxury brands available in Davao City.
"Although we are performing better than last year, we are still off our target for this year," Go told reporters last Monday.
Go added that their target for the 2008 is a double digit in sales, but so far they have only been playing around the upper part of the single digit.
SM City Davao remains to be one of the top performing malls outside Metro Manila.
But Go said the upscale brands have to double their marketing strategies in order to lure more customers and maintain their sales.
But despite the economic slowdown and the upsurge in the prices of basic commodities, Go remains confident that SM City Davao will meet, if not surpass, its target for the year.
