THE City Mayor's Office (CMO) grabbed its four straight win by trouncing New Day Recovery Center (NDRC)-HGWI, 101-80, in class C of the 2008 Summer Basketball League held at the Davao City Recreation Center Sunday night.
Roy Bangkas led the charge for the CMO squad while Dindo Pastor and Joven Braga added 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Scoring machine Davao City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go, who is also executive assistant to Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte, was limited to 11 points.
The lawyer Bernard Babista-owned NDRC-HGWI, which dropped to a 3-4 record, leaned on Rhandelle Colina, who drilled 14 points in as teammates Thommy Collados made 11 and Paulos Dalisay 10.
Games will resume on Sunday in the cagefest sanctioned by the Basketball Association of the Philippines-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP) Region 11.
