Floral float parade briefing on Thursday
BRIEFING of the Floral Float Parade, also known as Pamulak Kadayawan, is set on Thursday, at 2 p.m., at the Conference Room, 3rd Floor of the City Council building.
The Pamulak Kadayawan is scheduled on August 24.

It starts at exactly 8 a.m.
Route starts at Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to C.M. Recto turns right to San Pedro Street down to Legaspi Street and ends up at the Peoples' Park for the public viewing.
James A. Zimmerman, parade committee chair, said that aside from the traditional float entries, participants are encouraged to join in the alternative category, which is open to indigenous or extraordinary small vehicles.
The vehicles this year may include Minica-size cars, golf carts, mini tractors, push carts, motorela, karo, kalesa and even pedicabs.
The traditional float entries, he said, are expensive compared to the alternative category but a bigger prize is offered.
Prizes at stake are P300,000 for the first prize, P200,000 for the second placer and P100,000 for the third placer.
Two consolation prizes of P25,000 each will also be given.
The alternative category champion will bring home P100,000. First runner up will get P75,000 and P50,000 for the second runner-up.
