Brgy. 2-A prevails over Brgy. 13-B five
BARANGAY 2-A beat 13-B, 111-106, in the Poblacion A inter-barangay eliminations of the 4th Duterte Basketball League (DBL) held at the Almendras Gym Sunday.
Barangays 5-A, 15-B, 11-A and 20-A also shared the limelight in the cagefest presented by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte in coordination with the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office.

Barangay 5-A routed 6-A, 97-66, while 15-B pulled off a 98-66 victory against 16-B and Barangay 11-A overcame Barangay 14-B, 75-66.
In another game, Barangay 20-A downed 9-A, 80-75, to keep its hopes alive for the inter-barangay top cash prize of P14,000.
The top barangay team will advance to the inter-district finals that stakes P40,000 to the champion team and P30,000 to the runner-up. The next two teams will also receive prizes while the most valuable player will pocket P10,000.
Over a 100 barangays are entered in this year's season of the league also supported by the Office of the City Vice-Mayor and Association of the Barangay Captains. (MLSA)
